About Us

Our Philosophy is simple “Love Coffee at Home”

Love Coffee at Home

We want everyone to be able to enjoy really tasty coffee in the comfort of their own home.

Tasty coffee isn’t difficult to make, and it shouldn’t be exclusive to the coffee shop. So we’re here to lend a helping hand and guide you through the process.

Our website is filled with a range of products for brewing tasty coffee at home; whilst our Coffee Knowledge section and Barista Blog are full of useful information on coffee and great tips on how to get the best out of these products.

About Daily Espresso

DailyEspresso.co.uk is an independent family run website founded in 2018 by coffee fanatic James Cartwright.

We have owned, operated and sold coffee businesses ranging from boutique coffee shops (before they were popular!) to wholesale coffee suppliers, supplying some of the best known cafés in the UK.

This website is our online home to share our passion of ‘all-things-coffee’ with the UK and the rest of the world.

We will use all our experience and expertise to ensure you can also love and enjoy coffee at home, as much as we do.

Why Make a Website about Coffee?

Coffee is our passion and has been our livelihood for considerable time. We were looking for a new family project and making a website seemed like a fun idea.

We hope you enjoy and learn from the content and information we publish.

Some of the links used on our website point to third party companies from which DailyEspresso.co.uk receives a small commission on certain sales we refer.

Please rest assured this doesn’t affect product pricing, nor does it influence our own opinion on the product whatsoever. We hope you decide to purchase products using our links (it’s optional, remember!), as it enables us to carry on doing what we’re doing!

Helen Cartwright

Daily Espresso Head Writer

I have a total of 11 years of barista experience in several coffee houses around Birmingham and Derby.

And even though my career has recently been moving in a different direction, coffee is still a crucial part of my life. I can’t even count how many Daily Espresso articles were written inside cosy cafes!

Getting to write for Daily Espresso has been the perfect means for me to combine my two passions: writing and delicious java. So thank you for visiting us!
